Did you know that UBarU was founded in 2001?

What a wonderful gift given to us by the Society of Friends, the Texas Quakers in 2001. The Quakers chose the Unitarian Universalist faith to care for this wonderful land in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. First Church Austin gratefully accepted the gift of “Quakerland” in trust for a larger Unitarian Universalist community, creating the Unitarian Universalist Friends Retreat Foundation to own and operate UBarU.
