UBarU is a Unitarian Universalist Camp and Retreat Center located on 142 rugged acres in the Texas Hill Country about an hour west of San Antonio. We are an International Dark Sky certified park so the night sky can be awe-inspiring to view. We have a stock tank swimming pool, 2 labyrinths, a Memorial trail, loop trail for hiking, treehouse and indoor gathering spaces. It is our hope to offer a chance for folks to find a peaceful space to renew their spirit, reconnect with the life around them and create community.

Bring your family or just yourself to participate in the worship, workshops, Sunset talks, recreation and community fun that is SWUUSI camp. Lodging will be in the Brown Center Suites and the cottages or in your own RV on campus. There is a meals and programming only option for registration if you prefer to stay in Kerrville (see below). All meals will be included (please indicate omnivore, vegetarian or vegan on the registration). Programming will include sessions for all ages as well as adult workshops with concurrent programming for children.

Please direct questions to director@ubaru.org or call 830-460-6002.

Nearby in Kerrville, there is a La Quinta about 25 minutes away. If you choose to stay off site, register with the button above for the “Meals and Programming only” option. Please make reservations yourself by calling the La Quinta at 830-896-9200.
